Our practice is dedicated to quality care and exceptional service. We respect the importance of your time and work very hard to schedule appointments that accommodate the busy scheduling needs of all our patients. In return, we ask that our patients make every effort not to change an appointment once it has been reserved. As a courtesy, we contact our patients two days in advance to verify your reserved time.
If you find that you must change an appointment, we request 48 hours notice so that we may accommodate another patient but 24 hours is required. Your cooperation is appreciated. Broken and missed appointments create scheduling problems for other patients as well as the practice. If you fail to show for two appointments or give less than 24 hours notice for a cancellation, you may be charged a $50 fee, restricted to same-day-only appointments, or dismissed from the practice. Of course, emergencies occur and are considered on a case-by-case basis.
We would like our patients to be informed of our office financial policy. We are committed to providing you with the highest quality care. If you have dental insurance we will help you receive your maximum allowable benefits. In order to achieve these goals, we need your assistance and your understanding of our financial policy.
Payment is due at the time service is rendered. We accept cash, personal checks, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, & American Express. For our patients without insurance benefits, we offer a 10% bookkeeping courtesy if payment is made in full at the first appointment. If you cannot take advantage of the 10% courtesy and your treatment involves more than one visit, we ask for 50% down at the first appointment and 50% upon completion.
As a courtesy to our patients with dental insurance, we will assist you in processing your insurance claims. It is important to understand, though, that the contract regarding your dental benefits is between you, your employer and your insurance company. Other provisions are as follows:
For treatment fees exceeding $500, patients with good credit can apply for interest-free loans through the office. For more information click here.
Balances older than 60 days are subject to finance charges at the rate of 1% per month. Additionally, charges may be incurred for broken appointments and appointments cancelled without 24-hour advance notice.
Patients seen on an emergency basis should be prepared to pay cash for needed treatment the day of service, even if you have dental insurance. We will assist you in receiving reimbursement from your insurance company. Emergencies resulting from injuries or accidents involving Workmen’s Comp, etc. will also be handled on a cash basis with our willingness to provide documentation to the insurance carrier involved.
If you have any questions regarding our financial policy, please to not hesitate to ask us. We are here to serve you.
